IFBE - Ice Factory, Ballard estate

“IF.BE” stands for Ice Factory Ballard Estate, a new cultural center in the heart of Mumbai.

The lighting, designed by Tripti Sahni of Studio TRACE, responded to Malik’s architectural vision by highlighting the varying materiality and scale of the structure, with inbuilt flexibility facilitating the infinite programmatic possibilities of IF.BE while honouring the confluence of the past and present.

The spaces include the Cathedral, the Banyan tree cafe, Native - a fine dining indian restaurant and the main Ice factory space itself.
