As December approaches, the evenings in Bombay city are finally cool enough to sit outdoors! One of our favourite projects with Fine Lines Designers, this outdoor restaurant by the beach at Sun n Sand Hotel is the perfect spot to unwind.

The lighting design for the Sunset Lounge ensured that the landscape features were the highlight. The lighting for the seating area was either recessed or hidden to ensure there was no disturbance to anyone enjoying the space - the carefully layered shadows  create an element of dynamism that encourages one to lose themselves in the space and relax. 

 Careful attention was paid to ensure all the lighting fixtures specified were suitable for the high saline environment to prevent corrosion and rust.

Indirect light with the correct accessories ensured there was no spill light into the beach, to prevent disturbance to any aquatic wildlife.
